Since getting back into physical activity after her knee surgery last year, Jo has really gotten into Pilates. “I love it,” says Jo. “It reminds you of muscles you forgot you had – or never realized existed – and really builds up the strength of your core. Plus, I feel amazing afterwards. A bit like a rubber band.” Jo also wanted to remind parents and caretakers to remember to look out for themselves. “It’s important to get in whatever physical activity you can for yourself. Even if it’s just a couple of laps around the block or a long walk while pushing a stroller.” It will get your pulse going and help clear your mind – good health all around.
